About the Prairie Preservation Guild and the Fowler Theatre.
The Prairie Preservation Guild, Ltd. is a charitable, not-for-profit group organized for the purpose of historic preservation and maintenance of old buildings to benefit the Benton Community. Renovating the 1940 Fowler Theatre, a downtown landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2004, is the group’s first restoration project.

Today the Fowler Theatre is managed primarily by community volunteers committed to keeping the theatre in operation.  A top priority of the theatre is to provide programs and services that are accessible and affordable to all.

Shows are:

  • Friday at 7:30 p.m.,
  • Saturday at 7:00 p.m., and
  • Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

       Doors open 30 minutes before the movie.  

Admission is:

  • Children (aged 12 and under) = $4.00
  • Adults (aged 13 and older) = $6.00
  • CASH ONLY – If you forget to bring cash, Alliance Bank, Fowler State Bank and the nearby CountryMark gas station have ATM’s

The theatre is located 111 E. 5th Street in Fowler.
